I enlisted as a Private in the United States Marine Corps after High School. I was commissioned
a Warrant Officer after obtaining the rank of Sergeant. I was promoted to the rank of Chief
Warrant Officer 2 prior to leaving the Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps I attended
college in my free time working towards my undergraduate degree. After serving over nine
years in the Marine Corps I completed my undergraduate schooling and attended Law School in
Houston, Texas.

Upon graduation from Law School, I worked for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office as
a Trial Prosecutor. While an Assistant District Attorney, I prosecuted countless cases including:
Murder, Robbery, Sexual Assault, DWI, and Drug cases among others.

In 1997 I left the District Attorney's Office and opened my Law Office dedicating my practice
exclusively to representing people accused of criminal offenses. I have continued my legal
training by taking numerous Continuing Legal Education Courses related to Criminal Law.

I am currently admitted and licensed to practice law in the following courts:

United States Supreme Court
United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit
United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas
United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas
United States District Court for the Western District of Texas
United States Court for the Southern District of Texas
United States District Court for the Eastern and Western District of Arkansas

The Supreme Court of Texas
